Helping Your Child Build Strong Foundations From the Start

At Thrive Autism, we believe that the earlier children receive support, the greater their progress can be. Our Early Intervention ABA Therapy program is designed for children as young as 18 months old who may be showing signs of autism or experiencing developmental delays.

Through a highly supportive and play-based approach, we help children develop the critical skills they need during the earliest and most important stages of growth.

What Is Early Intervention?

Early intervention, also known as Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI), provides 25–40 hours per week of one-on-one therapy with a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Our goal is to give children the chance to catch up on developmental milestones they may have missed or may be delayed in. This includes:

  • Communication skills: first words, responding to name, basic requests
  • Motor movements: gross and fine motor coordination
  • Feeding skills: self-feeding, trying new foods, reducing picky eating
  • Social skills: eye contact, joint attention, turn-taking, interactive play
  • Daily living skills: routines, transitions, following directions

By introducing these foundational skills early, we set the stage for long-term growth and independence.

Why Early Intervention Matters

Research consistently shows that children who begin ABA therapy before age 4 make the most significant progress. The brain is most adaptable during these early years, meaning children can:

  • Learn new communication strategies faster
  • Develop age-appropriate social skills
  • Improve readiness for preschool or kindergarten
  • Build confidence in interacting with peers and caregivers
  • Reduce the impact of challenging behaviors over time

Starting early not only benefits your child today — it can create opportunities for greater independence in the future.

Flexible Environments for Learning

Every child learns differently, which is why our early intervention services can be delivered in multiple settings:

  • In-home ABA therapy for comfort and family involvement
  • In-school ABA therapy to support academic readiness
  • In-community sessions to practice real-world skills
  • Clinic-based programs for structured, intensive learning

Our team collaborates with families to choose the best environment, ensuring therapy is effective and sustainable.

"Thrive has been a game changer in my son's life. We moved to Arizona a year ago and I was unsure of where to go for ABA. My son took the year off of ABA, but then I saw Thrive was opening. I quickly called and they got my son in quickly. We love their amazing staff members. They help my son work to become his best and he asks to go everyday. Thank you so much Thrive for being authentic and a fun environment for my child to become his best."
