SERVICES

Recommended for any stage in life

early intervention

This intensive approach is for your young child, starting at 18 months old, to learn initial skills and developmental milestones that they may have missed or be delayed in. This can range from initial communication skills, motor movements, feeding, and social skills (eye contact, joint attention, play, etc).

This approach is typically between 25-40 hours per week and can be done in multiple settings and environments.

adolescent social skills

This is for children and teens that are able to have short conversations and have an interest in interacting with others - They just might not know how. We use ABA to teach how to interact appropriately with others their age. We tackle conversation skills, friendships, and problem-solving skills. It is also helpful in teaching emotional coping strategies, understanding other people’s perspectives, and executive functioning skills.

emerging adult skills

Entering adulthood can be a scary time especially when some skills are lacking. We use this approach to teach self-management, self care, money management, cooking, and job/vocational skills. Adulthood can also bring on some challenging social dynamics such as roommates, shopping, transportation, dating and adult friendships. ABA can be applied to assist in all the above areas.

parent/caregiver training

Some of the hardest times can be when you just don’t know what to do to help your child or family member. In each ABA program, Parent/Caregiver Training is required and/or it can be the only resource you use. Parent/Caregiver training teaches the foundations of ABA as well as how to apply them in your home. This is not only to keep treatment consistent but to also give you the tools to help your family member learn new skills, emotional coping strategies and manage behavior when we aren’t present.

behavioral consultation

Sometimes there are just a few things that require support or treatment. This is usually paired with parent training and typically a shorter period of treatment time. With behavior consultation, a BCBA will come in to your home or school to assess a problematic behavior and develop a treatment plan specific to decreasing the behavior.

school support

We are also able and willing to go into a school to help your child learn in their school setting. We will attend IEP and 504 plan meetings to help ensure that your child is receiving the support that they need through behavior or academic accommodations, modifications and teacher/staff support. Pending the school allows we will also attend class with your child wherever possible to help with attention, behavior and social skills.
